TabTrade Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

TabTrade - What It Is

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.

Platforms

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.

FIX API is there for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly in the works. That should make the platform set when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

The execution is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform quote 100ms to 300ms.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals what kind of broker this is.

Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

Now, the part that matters. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It should inform how you think about it.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual sign-up bonus. You deposit, TabTrade top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.

The complete breakdown, including regulation, withdrawals, pricing, and the bonus check here terms, is at TradeTheDay.
